Be Aware: Burned properties may contain toxic substances like car batteries, mercury lightbulbs, lead based paint, and Asbestos exposure. Wear protective clothing and avoid skin contact during cleanup. Consult local emergency services and fire recovery personnel for specific handling instructions and specialty approved disposal services for hazardous waste, e-waste and Freon.

Household Trash (Normal Household Waste, Recyclables)
Construction Debris (Drywall, Fencing, Fixtures, Furnishings, Glass, Metal, Roofing Materials, Water Heater)
Freon Free appliances (Oven, Stove, Washer, Dryer. Refrigerators, A/C Units, and Freezers must have Freon removed to be accepted.)

Aspen Acres Flash Flooding Debris Disposal

An Aspen Acres Fire Flash Flooding event can be quick, scary and filled with dangerous materials. According to weather.gov burn scars can be susceptible to flash flooding for up to 2 years. During this time, residents may require debris removal. Flash flooding debris can be mixed with fire debris as long as roll-offs have debris containment liners.

After initial fire debris cleanup concludes, flash flooding may prompt ongoing disposal needs that do not require a debris containment liner. Please contact C&C agents to determine liner requirements.
